Study Purpose:
It is the intent of this Study to prove: a. The new Open-Fit style hearing aids drastically reduce, if not virtually eliminate the factors cited above as the reasons why hearing aids are not more readily worn by the general population. b. If patients were allowed to take home the new style Open-Fit hearing instruments for a 30 day trial period without concern for cost, penalty or purchase pressure, more patients would realize the benefits of hearing aids in their own environment and choose to correct or improve their hearing loss. About The Study: This is an independent Study funded by our parent company, Better Hearing, Inc. The participating manufacturers have given Better Hearing Centers a substantial discount to pass along to the participants of the Study. The results of the Study will be published and made available to hearing care professionals. This study is limited and participants are pre-screened to meet specific fitting criteria. The Study length has not yet been determined at this date.
